Looks so clean and airy! Everything here has dried to dust. All my poor flowers are burnt to a crisp. Petunias and marigolds. The petunias will come back, but will the marigolds? Are they annuals?

they are both annuals . with that being said, My petunia came back from last winter on the back porch in a pot. marigold from the seed and you probably have time for them to come and bloom this summer. Prostar, your ladies are looking very nice.

Thanks ;)

I just had discussions with one why she shouldn't poop on my leg...shooed her she hopped back up and we did a stare down...then she got shooed again and nice runny one on the ground.

Rough day today. Poor Tom is very sick with a bowel problem. VERY SICK. He has been a mess a few times today. The joys of living with someone that has use of one hand is too much sometimes.

Drs. visit today showed just how bad he is when put on the spot. He couldnt answer the simplest of questions. He just kept looking at me to answer. very sad. He is breaking my heart. One yr. later and i finally get the results to my stress test. they had put it in the wrong place in my electronic chart. . Remember this was for heart clearance for my foot surgery. well, It shows I had just had another heart attack and my heart is beating way too slow. Gotta love these drs. around here.

Oh good lord granny!!! You gotta take care of you too. We need to get you some minions or something. Hugs and chicken love (just gotta watch her tail feathers for when she's gonna poop the little brat)

not sure if i am explaining this right. the test was done almost a yr. ago. so i had heart attack #5 a yr. ago. I should of never been cleared for surgery. I get enough poop on me with out adding . hahaaa

Sorry about the Health problems granny, it makes me thankful for the NHS.

Sorry but I'm hijacking the thread lol, I have serious chicken math problems. Help me decide please! I'm looking for sweet hens that will fit in with my existing flock.
Despite not being able to buy birds due to the Avian Flu ban in my area, which will hopefully be lifted soon. I want to think about what birds I'm going to get in my flock.

If you have any opinions or experiences or any of the following breeds, they would be appreciated :
(Buff, Blue, Silver, Gold or Barred) Wyandotte
Buff Laced Frizzle, Gold Laced or Tolbunt Polish
Chocolate or Black Orpington
Salmon Faverolles
Welsummers
Cream Legbar
Gold or Double Silver Laced Barnevelder
Wheaten Marans
Silkie (a variety of colours - White, Black, Gold and a few other I can't remember)
Welbar
Brahma (Dark, Gold, Lemon Pyle)
And a variety of hybrid hens - Rhode Star, Amber Star, Black Rhode, Bluebelle, Calder Ranger, Daisybelle, Speckled Star, Sussex Star, White Star, Buff Barred and Partridge

I have to narrow this list down to five!
