Good morning everyone! 34* here this morning..... I went to bed at 9pm last night, got up at 10am this morning! The best night of sleep I have had in too long a time.

I talked to Mike last night, he is planning on coming to visit in mid March. That is when he will begin applying to the state for all of his subsidies for his medications. His income may be low enough that he can get Medicaid, if that happens he will not be eligible for some of his subsidized drugs. However, Medicaid will pick them up. If all go smoothly, that will be great. But, if it doesn't go smoothly, it will be a night mare.

That is why he is having a hard time leaving SC and moving to PA.

Morning enola, I went through that when I moved here. took a yr for me to get insurance . 2 states in the US that just because you get SSI you dont auto get medicaid. I had to prove to the state I was disabled as well.

I know it is going to be a difficult process. That is why he can't just pack up and come up here. One of his medications would cost about $1500 per month. (More than he draws per month.)

Thats crazy some of the prices meds come up with. . I know tom has cost well over a million dollars in surgery's alone. His meds are outrageous .
