Camping, so sorry about your hens. I have always worried about that very thing with those nozzle waterers. I have water bowls everywhere come warm weather. We have a lots of calcium in our water so it builds up on everything. Have tried the drink cup things that has the spring loaded stem that they peck at to release water. In one summer those things got so gummed up that I stopped using them. Strictly water dishes now.

I've have to wait until the start of April to make sure there isn't any lasting Icelandic DNA still active will my SF hens. Then I will see what I can do. Probably couldn't send more than 6 cuz I only have 2 hens & I would want them to still be fresh when you got them. I've got some test sfh eggs in the bator right now. Not certain if they are fertile or if they are "Who's their Daddy"

I'm starting to have Red's complex. Every time I get on everyone disappears Was Red on this weekend, can't remember much of what I read over the weekend. It was super late every night before I had a minute to even check in. Then with little sleep, I don't retain anything.
