Granny I think you should turn your incubator up about 1/2 a degree. Large fowl chicks are healthier if they hatch on day 21. And if you think the turner is not working properly, you need to take it out and turn them by hand. Or buy another turner.

Put selected roos in my breeding pens with hens. Been 3 weeks since i put hens in breeding pens. Hubby says we have enough chickens to feed. I am taking 11 roos to sale or butchering my self before i start setting eggs by the signs of the moon on 3/22 i think. Have to look at my calender again. Hope to get some lemon cuckoo chicks from my crosses.

Thanx Yorkshire I've been dabbling in genealogy for several years. I lay it down, pick it up , sometimes new info just jumps out at you I've traced mine back past the Battle of Hastings but there's not much written down past that, unless it's war, or nobility

NC sauce is vinegar based or at least locally it is we have tomato based and mustard based but I like the vinegar based also most around here is a dry rub smoked BBQ and sauce is added at the table ...
