I had some  not so nice roosters    usually I would just smack or boot them off the hens.   They were very tasty  with the proper seasoning.

this one May end up in a pot as well. I'm not gonna let him harrass my girls. My rir kick his butt several times today along with me.

I feel about 1000 times better.  I'm not sleeping all the time and I can do whatever I feel like.   Mostly.  lol   Chest not hurting all the time, ringing in my ears not as loud, it's great!

Think my hatch is complete with a dozen chicks. I'm going to float test tonight and then eggtopsy to see what went wrong with the last four. Then I'll convert to brooder.

SO NOW I CAN TELL YOU that I did most of that hatch with no thermometers and no hygrometer. I borrowed them for the cooler and never put them back. I hadn't changed the settings from the previous hatch, and just sort of hoped for the best. When I candled on day 14 everything still looked pretty good, so I just kept going.

And that's the story of the irresponsible incubation.

Hi all! I've tried my bestest to catch up a bit but missed a BUNCH! Congrats for all your hatches! Yay for Newfie feelin good and the spendid weather ya'll are having in the midwest. Yay for Mare moving to Oregon! Good deal Beth keeps her toe, sucks for the ticket. Nice rabbits York. So sorry about the kitten Tippy, you're right Texas AC do nothing. Had a AC friend go to work for San Antonio AC. She didn't stay long. Probably missed a bunch of folks but don't mean to. I've been up to my ***** in alligators here. DH went back to work, so I'm a one man show here at home caring for Pops, the critters and the farm. Pops is doing great but is still in quite a bit of pain and shouldn't be. We'll get that sorted out. Love ya'll!
