Just checking in with you guys... This sickness is just not letting up. Devin went to work but he still isn't right. Michael and Vinnie are home again... Everytime they think they are better they get worse.... So done with this bug!!! Twisted, I hope you don't have it.
 
:weee Red. I'm excited! You wouldn't be able to use them for breeding to sell, but they'll be SO pretty in your flock! And they'll make pretty babies, too. I've got to get the NPIP first. You can be my practice for shipping live birds!

hi, big wasted trip today. I found out why I couldnt make calls . I didnt pay my bill.

LOL But I could still get calls. Robert was with me. They said I just couldnt do long distance and he says, well why do we still have internet ? Thats pretty long distance. I heard a baby duck in distress in front of their office. We looked but couldnt find it so I asked the girls if they had and thing left from their lunches maybe they could put it out there. Went to find a buddy for this chick and was not thrilled but brought home another cornish cross. It is about a week older an I was a bit worried as I should of been because when I put them together MY baby tried pecking its eyes out. They didnt have what my son went for either.

I guess there would really be nothing to stop him, but I don't know what the market is for them. They would be substandard, still have potential to throw black offspring

Honestly, it gets my head all squirrelly. Because how are there diff colors of diff birds? Mutations and recessive genes. Who decides which colors are unacceptable within the breeds? Associations. And how does the color get accepted? Petition the association.

The APA only recognizes three colors of sussex in the US, even though lots of other colors are available. It's the same with labs: AKC recognizes yellow, chocolate, and black, but people go crazy for the reds and silvers.

I'm not short sighted enough to believe that the color leakage won't just be labeled as a different color option in the future.
 
Camping, enola, I think you meant he couldnt sell them as show quality or what ever they are called . Not that he wouldnt be allowed to sell them if he wanted to. Right ?
