Well I just chased a possum out of my house.... This is why I can't have chickens here...

you could get a 410 shot gun and then they make slugs (lead bullet) instead of shot. A lot of state's require you use slugs when hunting deer as the bullet doesn't travel as far.

410 would be ideal, for lack of kick, and still get scatter gun affect.

the only problem, is since they are a caliber not used much down here, ammo is expensive, as well as the shotgun. also, the killing distance for varmits will be greatly reduced.

a 20 gauge, semi auto, loaded with number 6's will do ya a great job, and have very little recoil.

On that same note I have a Tarus Judge Defender pistol that shoots .45 and 410 but man does it kick !!!!!

york, I dont do anything with my extra roos til they start acting up and each breed is different but that is around 6-9 months.

for roosters I go by size and disposition,and if there trouble early on I get rid of them quick

what was it ? here it needs to be over 102 before they think about antibiotics.
