so you had chop and shank ? Im not sure what the shank is. I hear a lot of people talk about meat being gamey but I dont know what that means as I have never ate anything except buffalo burger. It was good

My sister brought the lamb shanks. She had braised them in wine and herbs, and we finished them on the hibachi. I think the shank is the lower part of the leg.

Cooked to medium or medium rare. They are delicious. :p Everyone agreed they are more like beef, but gamier tasting. Scooter is there to guard against marauding chickens! Here was my plate with a little piece of lamb shank to try too. I skipped lunch, but ate way too much.

Wow Wishing ! You didnt bring any home ? Do you know what the white ones were ?
I could not bring any home, thankfully. They just got them in and do not sell until the following day, thank goodness! And thank goodness there were no leftovers from the previous week. Sold out.
The only white chicks on the list for that delivery would have been cornish cross. And we know how you feel about those!

Tippy, I avoid TSC during chick days. Went there one time and it was a big mess. poor chicks. My feed store won't let anyone reach into the brooders. They have an employee do it. Saturday mornings, there is a huge line, but no disease transfer.
