Yup. Working there for 2 weeks. Couple of years ago, he had 6 trips in one year. That got old fast, but he knows the ropes so it's really easy for him now. He's got his packing down to a science, knows which trains and ferries to take, and even knows some of the check in agents and flight attendants by name! He even taking a t-shirt and US newspaper articles from last years NBA finals to Joe, who works in one of the hotels and is a huge Steph Curry fan (Warriors basketball). They remember hubs because he is sooo American. They think it's funny that he can't speak Chinese. He's been learning though. Listening to Mandarin tapes for a year now. They will be surprised!Granny, hope the trip to town loosens the bones and muscles a bit.
Wishing. Your hubby is going to China. My brain isn't working right.
Red. Day seven candle and you will have a better idea of what's going on. Excited to hear what you have to say. Mark your aircells!!!
They are starting to put wifi on planes, but it is expensive to use. Some of the planes even have phones in the back of the seat headrest. Just slide in your credit card! $$$ Don't know if any of this works out over the Pacific ocean, though. Probably not. Once he is in China, we can talk or text on the cell phone. He pays extra for an international plan just for when he travels. We also use Skype, which is free. Links us up through the computer and we can see each other and talk. One time he had a long layover in Taiwan, and I Skyped him the football game that was on! Probably broke some broadcast laws, but he got to see some of the game and lots of people in the airport came over to watch American football!Wishing, you know how tech-challanged I am. Do you talk to your DH on the plane even in china ?
