heart attack, broken legs or hips internal organs give out.

Wish I had never seen them. its enough to turn you away from chicken. I have never held them petted , ect.. but I reach in there to feed and they come running to cuddle under my arm and pick on the buttons of my coat sleeve. I have never had one so sweet. They keep their eyes on me and every move I make begging for attention. What am I supposed to do with that ?

That's PanFried. Monster is giant brown fuzz. He's finally sprouting some gold feathers at almost 5 weeks.

They don't know. They don't understand the future and will not be worried or lamenting what they might be missing. you are taking all of that onto yourself. We can only do what we can do.

I know a friend who eats her culls, but she is lucky enough to have a good friend who does the actual culling for her. I could clean and eat them, just have trouble with the killing part. Anything to prevent suffering is good.

I will do the job myself. I brought it on myself. But not til they show signs of suffering I think. As long as they are happy and playing I wont do it. And I will never buy another and if anyone asks I will give my view .

There's a sussex breeder who won't ship chicks until they're three weeks old. He packs them strawberries (and other things?) to keep them fed and hydrated. And he would need friends.

Thank you, everyone, for the kind words about my family. They are all good guys!

I know what you are going through. I always feel guilty when a pet dies, thinking I could have done more, I should have done this or that better. I have to forgive myself for not being perfect. I think it's part of the grieving process for me. In time the regrets fade, and the good memories remain.

Thank you all so much for being here for me. I feel brave enough with the anonymity of the internet to post my deepest thoughts and insecurities for you all. And yet the security to post those same ones to you all, knowing that I have exposed my secrets to you all, my friends, and that is somehow safe. Thank you.

I think it will end up costing to much to ship. there are special boxes they have to be shipped in and then the cost of overnight that takes 2-3 days. Hate this PO . It was a little over $100. for spaz.

I was just talking about that with someone a few days ago. I think it goes deeper . I would love to have everyone of you for neighbors and would still feel nothing but happiness and love . no shame at all.
