wishing, dont you hate having to ask a man to make /build something for you. dropping hints ? I do. It is very aggravating to me to not be able to just go do what I want. I didnt marry a man like that because I didnt need a man like that. I wanted something I did it. simple, if I didnt have the money I would figure something out . a different way. Now here I sit on my butt feeling sorry for myself and not a clue as to what to do about it.
As you guys can see , Im not in the best of moods today. Please forgive me.

This getting old stuff is not for the faint of heart. I've had back problems since 18, so have always had limitations. Wanted to do some backpacking... nope. Wanted to carry the babies around all the time... no. Now I feel fortunate if I can find a chair to sit comfortably at a meal.

My hubs is great about doing stuff, but I don't hint, I just ask him. Or I make one of the boys do it. I do what I can and get help with the rest. Actually, it's kind of easy to get hubs to do things, just do less than a perfect job! #2 and I built a ground cage. We were pretty proud of ourselves, and were in the process of figuring out how to do the top so it would open easily. Hubs got home, saw what we did, and proceeded to "tighten it up" by backing out all the screws and put them in more "securely." #2 was younger at the time and I was not strong enough to hold the pieces so they had little gaps.

Hubs then proceeded to finish the top. Easy!
