Haha, yes. It turned "winter" overnight, low 40s, windy, and wet. And I was thinking about all y'all up there with the real winters. I'm doctoring the flock in a minute, then I'm holing up for the day.

Granny I rescued a couple chickens from animal center and the hen is missing half her top beak!!!??? It looks like someone took a grinder to it??!! I know she's older but I've never seen one live long enough to wear its beak off?

As long as she can still eat, there is not much you can do other than hope it grows back. A picture would allow us to make a better observation.........

I am here, I am fine. dr appt. today then grocery's. dr. was a big waste. my dr. is on a cruise and fill in dr. sent the nurse in and says dr. wants me to take a look and if it looks ok he dont need to see you. well, I could of dont that from home and saved some gas and time. and i bet they charge insurance for it too.
