Yep those with the giggly thing, lol. I would put either a whole bird or pieces in there to tenderis, then shred it & add it to the broth, veggies & rice.

I do have a bunce of them but they are probable a month old and dont even have all their feathers yet. bantams, about 4in. tall and one of them is crowing. saddest thing i ever heard

Lol, you know you needed a solution to the rooster over crowding. I had 8 this Spring & that was way too many. Had 2 Amberlink sex link Roos that were eleven weeks old, crowing and trying to mate. Those were the first to go, yikes. I'll try not to make you go to the torture chamber, not my favorite place either. Would much rather be outside mucking around. I like to make meals that will last for days and only get better tasting everyday. We had 2 days of boiled dinner, so for dinner tonight I cubed the remaining ham, strained the juice, added onoin, celery, sliced carrots & great white Northern beans, WaLa Bean soup. Also started a huge pot of chicken & rice soup for the end of the week dinners And I have a friend going thru chemo again so I wanted some to take to her.

She is such a trooper, she has been fighting cancer for 9 1/2 years. She has been on one form or another of chemo the whole time. It just keeps coming back. Is so sad, she is such a special lady. Just wish I could do more for her. We became friends 4 years ago when my family & I started participating in Relay for Life. Have been friends every since then.

I just lost a facebook friend to cervical cancer.  she fought a good fight. For the love of Autumn.
I have another friend that has been battling breast cancer for the past 3 years. Keeps matastifying in other places. She is currently in a study group trying a new treatment. **** cancer makes me so mad. Sorry about your friend :(

I may be way off base here but i still believe our food is killing us. the hormones, the antibiotics , pesticides, bug spray, waxed apples, even the milk we drink. everyone in this world cant grow their own be we can try better to make sure we are doing what we can. I go to the amish farm for my milk. no its not "pasteurized" its just good, clean milk. problem is, no one really cares. oh well i got a chance is how a lot of us look at what we eat and feed our children. I am one of the worst offenders. cancer is so far spread today the best we can hope for is cures. some do, some dont. my friend was 42 and it had spread through her whole body, her husband has it too. it is very sad. I talk to people on here that have completely self sufficient farms but are they doing it organically ? thats a nice little research study that think should be done.

Ya it stinks how much cancer there is and I totally agree that all the poisons that are added on or into our foods are causing it. I grow a large garden & can or freeze as much as we can use, then sell the remainder on our vegetable stand or feed it to my chickens if it gets wilted. Some veggies I grow just for the girls. I'm allergic to milk (caisen), but I still consume it. Yes it causes problems, but I've tried some alternative without success. Wondering if goat milk would be any better?
