So funny that y'all are talking about quilts while I'm sitting here quilting. I've got one to finish by Christmas and one to finish by Friday. It's all done but the back, then quilting and binding. It was supposed to be for a baby in June, but I'm awful with deadlines. :/

Are you ? I have only made one with my mom. she made tons of them I still have one my grandma made. the ones we were talking about a cousin made and the Amish quilted. they do such tiny stitches ! I rather be mowing the grass or just about anything that dont include "womans" work. thats the problem, things i could be doing i have no desire to . I used to work in a heavy duty sewing machine factory. I was good to. I even sewed those tarps you see on the sides of tractor trailers. awnings, repaired the flags.

That's awesome! My quilts aren't very fancy, and I machine quilt them. This is the one I'm working on today:

When I got it all laid out I didn't like how the blue blocks were made so now I'm taking them apart.

Haha, no. It's the front design of a t-shirt from the summercamp where I work. A guy who was on staff asked me to make it for a girl who was on staff, because they're dating now.

mom called that quilt wind mill pattern. she said it was a hard one to make. went to Mcdonalds for brunchnner and now my chest and going to my back is hurting. think i forgot to chew. I love those little flowers on the fabric, used to be able to find sheets like that but no more. just dull colors. I cant even find sheets for my sons bed. I bought him a set for Christmas . says fits up to 18 in. his mattress is a whopping 20 in. thick.

Poor Lu, I remember that feeling. LOL and i only had one in there. you dont have to try so hard Twisted, I think it comes natural for you.

I am glad you like the quilts. I ppersonallydont like the tacked quilts but the other one, did you notice the tulips sewn into the sides? Those tiny stitches amaze me. never, would i have the patience to do that. So, I ate a giant muffin tin of fudge yesterday !

Are you saying that when you were preggers you used to try to jump up on the couch???

Try hard in what respect?? Yes noticed the two-lips I would never have the time to do that fine of stitching.

I think it looks great but then I totally understand the "creator" not being happy with the end product. Sent a batch of cookie dough out to the hens. The cookies were ediable but just not right or how they should be. Found an older hen 2 -2/12 dead in coop her backend / vent area looked like it had blown out? any ideas????
