dont yell at me suizerd, it was tylan, .75 cc 2nd one he has had in 3 days. I am not even sure what is wrong with him. yes, his eye is swollen but not crusty no bubbles. bad rattle in the chest and losing weight. he is by himself under heat now with a food floor . he was receiving denaguard 1 teaspoon per gallon but they were digging holes to drink nasty water no matter how many bags of shaving i put down. now he has one teaspoon in a quart .

Nope, not sure at all. and your not nagging. I am assuming you probably shouldnt. but I dont want to loose this guy. I had thought the preventative would stop any from getting it in the first place. I was wrong. drs. mix antibiotics all the time and i dont think it is the crd he has. I wont give anymore shots now, just wanted to start strong. I didnt even research the 2 together. I put .50cc in the muscle and .25 under the skin. I havent checked on him today but last night he was enjoying the heat. I will let you know later when i get the nerve to go out there. the sneezing in the coop is gone. the swedish i doubled up on well, really not sure. he must of been hiding that for a while. he looks better, eye swelling down and opened a little, but he sounds like crap. and he is light. whats the best to fatten him up? his vision is throwing him off on food. he has an aim like my ol man now. hehee water was frozen in the coop this morning and one of my hens laid her egg in it ! LOL it was stuck half in/half out. hahaa she had to laid it frozen then the heat from the egg made it sink and refreeze. they really dont like that denaguard.

I give mine canned salmon or scrambled eggs when they get down like that. Sometimes I sprinkle scratch on top if they don't take it.

eggs i got. I bought a 50 lb. bag of scratch one time and had to toss it. everyone else s chickens seem to like it. are there different kinds? and would rooster booster in the eggs help too?

I would like to have seen that. I had a girl drop one on the poop board today. They are really not liking these freezing temps. we're having, neither do I. About froze my little tutu off doing chores this morning, lol. Just realized that I have a chick that hatched last week has a really crooked front toe, is there a way I can fix that Granny?

ya, you can fix it. lots of things to use pipe cleaner, tape, maybe a chick shoe. just have to keep a close eye and change it every couple days so it dont out grow the tape and cut the blood flow off. go to search bar and put chick shoe in.

No idea on the rooster booster. There are different kinds of scratch, yes. Last bag we bought looked just like bird send. The one we have now has grains in it.
