I only have 10 more minutes left to say Happy New Year! on Jan 1st and best wishes for lots of eggs and good hatching. It's been busy here with visitors and cooking. Finally made that crab cioppino and the torture chamber is still a big mess. I figure that big mess won't run away if I go to sleep soon and it will be there to greet me tomorrow. Oh joy.

Put a heat lamp up in the Serama coop. We've been below freezing the last few nights, so I sleep better knowing they are not freezing

to death. Hope they are sleeping, cause that light is pretty bright, even though it's red. I'm very sleepy and am not being very clear, so I will try again tomorrow. Zzzz...

enola, LOL the voice that has Always caught my attention, well, 2 of them i guess. Sam Elliot and the man that says, lets get ready to rummmbbble ! LOL I can hear Sams voice and my whole body just relaxes ahhhh. dont know a thing about him, dont care to, just like to listen. LOL Wishing, it is never too late for well wishes, Happy new year ! Wishing is wishing. LOL have fun with all that mess. I cut my gum yesterday trying to bite that stuff i messed up on. Tom has a little blister on the side of his thumb, mine is just red.

When you turn a turner off does it go back into position or do you have to stand there and catch it at the right time ? anyone? the rest of the polish 5 i think, are supposed to go into lock down in 3 days. I havent even candled them. LOL someone from a very cold state has mailed me 8 serama eggs. they are being jiggled around by my post man as we speak. they have been in the mail for 3 freezing days. below freezing. except for being busted is there any way to tell if they may be viable? no, I didnt order, it was just someone wanting to help me out because of all the great luck i have had with them so far LOL was also told if they were no good I would receive more of them. what a nice person hu? Lot of nice people on here. So far , not one person has laughed about my gums, (in front of me ) . course day is young yet. And I dont care !!!!!

GOOD MORNING?AFTERNOON ? All Did you all eat some type of cabbage on New Years Day??? supposed to bring a prosperous year. SO I ate 1/2 a head of cabbage by myself. More good news if everyone's deposit checks show up all of the pups are sold. Not even 2 weeks old until tomorrow.

The one family taking Nativity is stopping in either sat night or sunday morn on their way back home from holiday visiting to see her. Noel is soooooooooo chunky/fat. How fat is she you ask....... she is so big when she rolls and I mean rolls on her back she is stuck there just like a turtle. SO either momma, me or another pup accidently crawling into to her has to knock/flip her over.

Well, I didnt eat any but i bought a head today for the chickens. LOL they are the ones that need to be prosperous.. congrats on the puppys. that didnt take long. the liver female sounds so adorable. She sounds like me and i am adorable when i am trying to get up and so fat i cant.

I need something bigger then my dog to give me a nudge. so my eggs came today. he did a great wrapping job. 2 boxes , peanuts and bubble wrap . none are cracked so they didnt freeze solid. its gonna be a long week

I thought it was black eyed peas and turnip greens for luck?

Chickenlady, was looking at your pictures. what a beautiful place you have there ! was looking at the coop. very nice as well. What kind of rooster is the white one with the small comb? sooo pretty and BIG ! your ee chickens are nice as well.

Are you going to put some under your little hen? Once they go broody, they stick like glue. Extras in the incubator and we'll eat cabbage every day if it will bring you luck!

I was right and the big mess was still there when I got up this morning.

Where are the kitchen fairies when you need one? NOT cooking today. My sis and I went looking at the sales and got a huge lunch out, so I'm full anyway. The boys are more than capable of fending for themselves.

She just got done being broody a few days ago. I wish i could. when she starts laying again i am not taking them though. He sent 8 eggs. the 5 half polish i have in the digital incubator i am going to switch them over to the older one. close to lockdown for them any way and put the seramas in the new one. the eggs look to be the same size as the ones i had with one big difference. these things are 28-30 grams. mine was 19.
