no, its not. the very hardest thing to do is nothing. keep in mind it has a yolk sac that can feed it for 3 days after the pip. as long as there is an air hole the best thing is to leave it be.  boy, that was a lot of short words. lol It wont need your assistance tonight . the only reason it would at this point is if it is turned wrong in the shell and cant zip, or the humidity is too low and it shrink wraps itself. either one of these will wait til you are rested. I am sure there are other reasons but these are the most common. 

I've seen it poke through the hole, so I know it can get air. And I added some water to bump the humidity just a bit more. It was at 60%, a little low. I'll probably check on it all night, lol.

No fluffy butts tonight, but I'll share a pic of the cake I made for my daughter's bday. I'm sure it will give you sweet dreams.

I just seen a post on facebook from my nephew . his mom, my sister was the one that was murdered in 08. he has never been able to handle it and turned to drugs, ect.... his post is simple really, just one word, but it speaks volumes.  FREEZING  I helped with these kids for about 10 yrs. and it just makes me sick. his own brother lives close and wont allow him in. 

Granny girl so sorry to hear that about your sister and so sad about your nephew. What state is he in?

I made blue glass candy for the "ice." The cake was the same color blue. The icing was cream cheese/ whipped cream concoction that I messed up and couldn't really fix. :/

Also had gluten free cupcakes for the two with allergies.

I heard from my daughter, she is 300 miles away. Tenn. they are coming in on fumes and a donut tire. I have to go to bed people. I am spelling every thing bass ackwards !

Wow, a lot of eggcitement around here. Hope all goes well with the hatchings. I always thought it would be fun to hatch some eggs, but it does seem like a lot of work and nail biting.

I'd never made candy before. First batch I scorched bad. Second batch caught my candy thermometer on fire. It was sticky and the kids wouldn't eat it. But it looked pretty.

I had to bake it in my work kitchen because my home oven is broken. :/
