Patience   what is that? i have been trying for EVER !!  she hasnt started back laying yet. I am going to let her try. and spring is never going to get here. some one stole it !!  I scored a heat light today at the flea market. 5 dollars and it included the light . not bad hu?  I posted my question somewhere, i cant do it again hu? think i put it in coop maintenance  

Granny I moved my seramas in to a spot with 68 degree temp and added a light on timers and she started laying. The serama book I bought stated that since they are strictly warm weather birds that the cold will shut down the factory lol

This is princess notice her makeshift brace and cast on right leg. She is my success/feelgood story. Her leg was so badly deformed at birth it was curled up like a fish hook. I have carried her around in my bra (yes my bra

) since January 4th and the last 2 days after weeks of physical therapy and hand feeding and watering she walked on her OWN

I almost cried I was so happy

Every year I hatch chicks and give away more than I keep. I gotta stop that. I gotta hatch whether we're here to tend them or not. I need to replace some and add to others.

Lord I sometimes wish I were younger but this is an even crazier world than I grew up in. I have a hermit neighbor down the road and I could easily become one but it's not God's way. Karls a little off his rocker. I tried to make contact but he wouldn't take the free eggs and jam I offered.

Such is life.

Perhaps he was afraid of feeling beholden to you. I'm not saying he would have been, just that he might feel that way.

Commercial property is exempt from the old age/homestead exemption, so no luck there. Last time I went and complained they upped my taxes even more. Property values in Dickinson are still going thru the room around here even with the oil slow down.

How do you/where do you look to find out if your state has an old age/homestead exemption? Thanks.

court house is where I went, same place where you pay your taxes. seems like you could call?

Would there be a specific title I should ask about? Or do you think they would know what I am talking about. Also, do you think you would have to reside in a state for a certain amount of time before you would be eligible? For instance: we are considering moving to OK in the next few years but have been here in MO for almost 13 years. Thanks.
