I candled. all dead but one. Incubator is crap to put it nicely . turned down to 99 it jumped to 106. trying to assist this last one out so i can get it in the brooder. what am i going to do with one chick?  no receipt . bought turner at the same time and it dont fit my old one.  

Aww that's too bad granny & I agree whole heartedly that that particular LG is a huge piece of crap. Mine in the beginning took 6 days to get it up to temp. then when it was time for me to move my other incubator eggs in it for lockdown it did a big spike in temp. Lucky I was right there and caught it otherwise my eggs would have been no good as well. The really sad part about that incubator was the big ole Made In the USA sticker on the front. We definitely need to go back to the drawing board with that design. Good luck with taking it back

thank you all. its a card i will treasure. I do hope you guys changed your latches or at the very least tie a string to the latch you can pull up to free yourselves. that is dangerous. what if the cell dont work? dont make me worry girls ! in other news, day 20. at 5 am. my daughter hears chirping (internal) at 7 am. i get up to find temp. spike of 105.

I did a quick candle last night . 2 had done internal pip all but one look to be alive. the serama of course.

day 21 no external pips. I dont like this new bator at all. LG still air digital. I seen where someone else on here took theirs back to the store. I am sure its too late for me to do that. the new turner dont seem to fit my old LG . Lisa, I am ok . the kids are a handful no doubt and they were better with mom and dad gone then when they are here. LOL thank you for thinking of me .

A faulty thermostat could be the cause of all your hatching troubles. How frustrating! I imagine yours won't be the first incubator returned to the store for this problem and the company should make it right. Sorry about your eggs.
