Mike and I are in the ER, he has acute abdominal pain and vomiting. We sat for an hour with him vomiting in a pan and moaning in agony. Finally, he vomited in the floor. Miraculously they took him in for treatment...... The DR suspects a bowel blockage. They are xraying him now.

I will be praying for you and Mike today. Hoping it is a minor problem.

hard day today. 3 to the drs. including myself. cried the whole time. the kids let frosty out and she was gone. we searched until the last min. before i had to leave and then grocery's got home and started looking again but they had found her. she is full of burs and is acting funny. I cant clean them from her but am so glad she was found. on antibiotics now. preventative for strep i guess.

Oh granny girl, so sorry that your not feeling good along with the kids. You sure have had a time of it So glad they found your Frosty. Dang nabbit your going to need a vacation soon. Hope you will be able to get the burrs cut out, those things are horrible to get off of a dog.

Now that reminds me. 

Had a friend telling us about another friend. He had had radiation and had problems. Was in the hosp. and they wanted to send him home. His wife a nurse said not until he has a bowel movement. He hadn't had a bowel movement for some time. Shorter version is,  He had some mesh in there from a previous surgery and the radiation melted it causing it to come loose and jam up the works.  

Now of course I will be praying for Mike. Hope all goes well.      (They don't have a praying emoticon)  

Wow! That's terrible, I guess you better not get radiation if you have a hernia patch. Gives me the hevie gevies.
