I would need to shovel snow in order to go to the store for some tea. Good thing I got alot before it got cold!

Update on Tom:
He is going forward and finnaly able to eat hard food again! His breathing is still raspy though.

Happy day - I just hit "book now" on a ticket to Oregon!!! A whole week of rest and relaxation -- as restful and relaxing as unpacking my mom, sister and kids into a new house and helping to prep the old one to be put on the market can be, that is. I haven't seen my mom since DD graduated last year and it's been pathetically longer than that since I've seen my sister and the kids. I need to get out there and get their new (to them - it's on the property they just bought)chicken coop cleaned up and ready so they can get cracking on a batch of chicks, lol.
So, you ready for the big snow, Granny? Trying not to get too excited as the last few we were promised here fell through completely - but DS and Ziva (the dog) are dying to have at least one good snow this winter. Stopped at WalMart today and they had shovels, salt, sand, etc all up front and center, they are probably just happy to actually have there be a chance they might sell some this year, lol.

Well get to the store and get some Tea, honey and biscuits. A few good books to read on homesteading and gardening. Of course if you crochet/knit that's good too. 

The kids moved back in so I had to toss all my yarn back in the bin.  I'll have to find a new place to set up shop.  DW is happy but it takes some rearranging. I'll have to give up this office but have no idea where to put all this stuff and the computer. 

I know how that is, I moved my office up to the shop and it is now so buried I can't find anything. We did this so my Daughter could move back home. I guess we do what we have too. Glad we can help her.

I don't mind so much but to move the computer is a pain. So many cables. Now that I think of it, I could build a couple more hoop coops and turn the old garden shed into an office. Clean it out, add some heat and I've be good to go. Plus we all need a place to escape too.

Oh and I can put in a Keurig for tea. I have a small fridge for creamer. A cot for some peaceful nights. Might need and outhouse though.

I have no doubt DW will got for it.

I heard just a couple hrs ago we are supposed to get snow tomorrow. I wouldnt mind just sitting and watching it come down. a few inches i think. Pharmacist called me and said to come get my meds early or i wouldnt of had a clue . LOL just went out to check out my dog kennel and there is no connecting brackets with it. he said they had it wired together. Thats not gonna fly with me. watch me end up paying twice as much for the brackets. Rancher, you knit? my father tried to show me but i am left handed and he couldnt. I went to see DD new place today. Its a dump. third bedroom is size of closet or smaller. 2 mirrors attached on each side of ceiling fan about to fall down over where a couch would go. I could name off 100 things.

I measured for blinds today. need all windows 8, I think . She did score stove and fridge. no beds no curtains, blinds nothing. and a huge bay window all the way to the floor IN THE BEDROOM !! Tom is sick now. sore throat. strep probably. I got his antibiotics the dr. gave him for just in case and there was a strange pill in the bottom of it. It was a blood pressure /water pill combo. He takes meds 3 times a day to Raise his. It would of killed him.

Wow Granny! The pharmacy put the wrong pill in? Scary! Good thing you saw it. Buckle down and stay warm, wish we got some snow nothing here and now the Spring glowers are starting to bloom.
Rancher that sounds like a good plan to me, I wish I had your energy. I love my kerug I'm sipping hot tea as I type.

OMG granny, so glad you caught it. Grandkids still here, will be overnight again because other grandma that watches our grandson is horribly sick with this Flu stuff that my daughter got. My poor 14 month grandson has had the backdoor trots for 2 days. I have not changed a just wet diaper since I got him yesterday morning. His little bottom is raw. With each change I either have to bath his bottom or try to carefully wipe with a warm, wet paper towel. Our granddaughter is not feeling good either. Our other adult daughter texted in tonight, she is vomiting as well. I'm exhausted, hoping grandson isn't up most of the night tonight like last night. Tomorrow is back to work for any helper that would let me catch a few winks in the morning. I am uncertain why they even had a flu shot this year, because everyone of my family members that got it have gotten sick numerous times this winter. I didn't because I'm allergic to eggs and that is what the vaccine is incubated in. I must be just to darn ornery or something lol.

How cold is it, haven't a clue, but when your nose hairs start freezing when your cleaning inside the chicken coop ~ it's darn cold out

I don't know if this works for everybody, but my nose hairs start freezing as I breathe in when it is 10* outside.
