I know it horrible, when did we get to be our parents age? -Yikes! I am the biggest Clutz anymore. It's hard to believe I was a good athlete not that many years ago. Now I can't chew gum & walk at the same time, lol. Sure wish my joke could make your physical pain better.

I didn't know I could feel this bad about a chicken dying....... Guilty is a better word...... One of my older blue egg layers died last night. I found her face first in the bedding under the perch when I took them warm mash a little bit ago. I guess she died in the middle of the night. I think she was 5 years old.......

This day is just plain crappy! I came back from the barn to find pipes frozen, no water to the toilet or kitchen sink..... So I go out to put my trusty little heater under the house to find out some one has stolen my extension cord! Off to town now to but another extension cord.......

Well that's crummy. Some petty rotten people to do that. Sorry about your hen. Maybe was just her time and not from the cold, so don't feel too guilty. It's still sad.

Congrats on the new stove, campingshaws. We had to get a new one before Christmas. Wonderful having such a clean new stove. For a time. The honeymoon's over.

Rancher, I know what you mean about those tall beds. Gives me vertigo! Can't sit on the side to put your socks on either.

CLady, few years back, I was pretty athletic too, but I don't feel that old. Except for my back and my hips. Oh, and the bum knee and stupid foot. Near vision starting to go. There's more that just won't come to mind right now. Oh. Right. Memory loss.

Time to use it or lose it!
