If i could afford another and weather was tons better i would go for her. maybe next litter or somewhere down the road.

Did i ever tell you guys I walk in my sleep ? talk too i guess. It makes for some interesting nights around here. not for me but , oh boy ! throw 6 grandsons into the mix and its all fun and games then !!

nope I keep my egg money in an old cermic bean pot. Well you see I wasn't willing to let Noel go for a couple days as she had shots this am and they can affect the pup's. And if they don't take her I have another buyer in the wings so to speak.

Good night all sweet dreams and warm fuzzies.

I think it is just not meant to be. the only thing i have been lucky in raising is dust. So, all the laughing and hooting i did yesterday over the slick driveway came back to me today. DD wanted to go to the free store. make sure their open? yup ! she tells me. so I get ready, we get baby settled and I am stuck. I didnt try real hard, didnt get the chance. SIL comes flying to my van says "here, I will pull it out for you". so I jumped in the back with baby and covered his face and held on for dear life. 15 min. later , I smell rubber burning. I said,"umm, the tires are burning. ". oh, its ok because they are burning on gravel not concrete.

out of the corner of my eye comes my husband. pajamas and all, walking on ice ! omg! we all rush to him and grab ahold so he wont fall. He says,"get out of my way". gets in the van and drives it to the top of the driveway as my SIL and I stand there with our jaws hanging. SIL says,"hasnt it been like 5 yrs. since he drove?" I said NOPE, its been 10.

Well granny, proves you picked a good one! I feel bad for poor SIL. Seems like he tries to help out, just doesn't have the gift for driving on snow. Heck, you wouldn't want to see me backing up a trailer. Not a pretty sight!

Wish you were having better luck with those Seramas. The rooster I sold was incredibly docile and attentive to the hens. He let one hen pull out his neck feathers all the time. He'd hold real still while she plucked away. Never drew blood, though. I didn't take it there was something wrong with the rooster, but that the hen was nutso. The little cockerel I have left scoots out of the way of hen squabbles, but he is very protective and attentive. He will chase away a hens from the other flock that are literally 5 times his size. Like a ferocious little Chihuahua fending off pit bulls! Tiny but fearless. Hope your luck changes. They are fun little birds.
