wishing i don't think theres a secret to it..we were very young when we married and it worked..i guess some things are meant to be,,we had our problems but worked them out never argued in front of our kids..when they tell people they never heard us fight and argue people don't believe them..but its true we sure didnt want them to hear so we kept it private,,i think that scares children ..they don't need to hear it..wasn't often tho but know one can live together without disagreeing on things...just have to figure them out and move on...

Granny bikes are to be on the road, wrenched my back trying not to fall over the idiot kid and his bike. I say kid but late teens early 20 's no brakes or at least not ones he could use as was busy sucking on a gallon jug of soda. The street is one of the main ones down town with business doors every 20 to 30 fee or so. And lots of elderly shoppers like even older then you granny.

Sweet Dreams all and warm fuzzies or cold ones if you in a heat wave.

Granny how's the ac holding out??

I did not know bikes belong on the road and when you said kid I pictured child. My apologizes. that is the mama coming out n me. LOL One day, old man, I will show you what an ol lady is capable of. be afraid, be very afraid.

My ac is not keeping up well in this heat. 75 set on 71. that is still too hot for me. normal i guess when heat index is 108. my van has no air and i have been hiding out but hunger forces me to brave it today.

i rode a bike when i was younger loved it so i decided what great fun that would be and good for me to move around some and get off pc... so couple years ago we each got a bike my sister did too...what a great day it was until i wrecked bad..the insurance company wanted to know where i wrecked my car i told them it was a bicycle..they said that many xrays and where injuries were was compared to car wreck..i have quit riding..

I had a bike one time for one day. didnt even get to learn to ride it. I walked every where i went . I used to walk for miles at a time. all day from sunup to down. I used to skip school, alot, and thats what i would do then too.take the bus to school then walk home. it would take me the same time as if i had stayed in school to get home. arrived when the bus did.

I dont know about steaks but he makes caramels and fudge like no ones business.

And, I have gotten a couple recipes from him that were good too. I think men always make better cooks then woman.

Jealous is the rain! It hasn't rained here in weeks. I'll take pics of our pond later. And my poor flower beds.

I put up three yards of white burlap on the tractor yesterday, to give the babies some extra shade. Hoping they can still catch a breeze as opposed to plywood or tin.

Today starts a new camp, this one for kids who have a parent in prison. It's a difficult group to handle. And they eat so much!! So I've stocked up on fresh fruit and salad, because they just plow through it.

Just two and a half weeks left and then it's all over for another 9 months.

how does that work camping ? did you get a contract for them every yr. or ? I am imagining little cabins in a row like in the movies. LOL then you make activities for them? So basically you are babysitting a whole flock of brats ?
