oh no !  what a horrible day you had. was anyone home at the fire ?  I see tons of car wrecks in front of my house. its really a bad road.  If the propane tank blew it shouldnt of been too close to the house right ?  

I have no idea if anyone was home, our cable is still out so no news on the fire yet. The larger generator are sometimes powered by propane, so maybe he had a tank closer than it should have been, who knows

We are so dry here as well. Even though we had torensial rain on Sunday it didn't help green things up.

Ours is a small town fire department, they will be on the scene overnight I'm sure. It was still smoking when I went out just before dark. With how dry our conditions are they will be watching for hot spots so a wildfire doesn't start.

I wish I was able to share pictures on this site. I would have shared some of the storm damage photos from our county following Sundays storm. Google Glen Arbor, MI or Traverse City, MI I bet you will be able to pull up storm photos with the news.

I will tomorrow, I could see the log home very good from my front yard. Didn't even have the heart to take a picture. After having a fire myself this year it just scares the bejeezes out of me. Made me sick to my stomach.
