Thats a new one on me. only thing i have ever seen pickled is eggs and pigs feet. well, except for pickles of course. I love fried chicken livers but never tasted the gizzard. tough ?

KFC used to have the best chicken livers. High cholesterol. Sigh

DD got me a beautiful black runner drake. I named him Jesse Owens.

yes chewy, but very tasty. My dad would make up a big pickle jar of pickled Chicken hearts & gizzards. Also pickled beef heart & tongue. They all had a chewy texture , but tasty. Atlest when I was younger. Haven't had them as an adult.

I guess its what you grow up eating. I like banana and mayo sandwiches.. a good snack mix peanut butter and jelly til smooth and dip ritz crackers. we called it hocky because thats what it looks like.

@ chickenlady- ready somewhere that if your hens are do fat they don't lay as well and well go broody. Maybe weightwatchers for the girls??
