I have a Gibson guitar that I bought when I was 16. I have dragged it through two marriages, one live with him spell, and multiple moves. And I still don't know how to play it. I bought it and the case for $75.

How much is the tattoo & what are you getting?

I don't play guitar but I do have a tattoo.

I'm going to borrow my brother's guitar to relearn. I haven't played since high school. The one I'm eyeballing is a dobro, or a resonator guitar. It plays a little like a banjo. And that's the extent of my knowledge on the subject. The first time I heard it, I was totally in love.

I don't know how much the tat will be. I know it's basically $100 just for an artist to set up, so I always assume that's the minimum. I already have one that I was wanting to get cleaned up a little, but now I'm thinking of something on the wrist. It's just so, so hard for me to ever save up money, the fact that I'm nearly halfway on the dobro makes me want to do that first, even though I already have an artist picked out where I'm traveling next month.

Mine is on my ankle. It really really needs recolored from the sun fading it.

I've just never been happy with mine. The art I chose was so gorgeous, but the artist was extremely heavy handed and the lines are thick and stiff. 70% of the thick lines are raised scars. It felt like knives dragging through my skin. I cried for at least two weeks everytime I showered or put the stuff on it.

.... And now you all know the history of my tattoo.

I just want it to look a little softer...

Good night all. I am getting up early to drive 2 hours to a swap. I'm getting my 2 ducks to replace the ones the fox got. I am hoping to find valley quail females or hatching eggs & CCLs.

And I have a 12 string epiphone guitar I haven't touched in ten years...but keep dragging it around.
