Gift arrived here too. I woke up to the sound of water running off the carport! Not enough to call it real rain, but a heavy drizzle, which is worth a lot these days. We are at the southern end of the the "storm" so hoping Oregon and Washington are getting more. They really need it too with all the terrible fires up there. Much cooler today. Yesterday my poor little #2son had to run 3 miles for a cross country meet. It was over 95° and the air quality has been poor what with the fires and he is slightly sick from being back at school with everybody's germs. He only made it a mile before the asthma kicked in. Too bad this rain wasn't yesterday. He would have managed then. camping, what type of dog is your pup? I know your cutie little CKC spaniel died, but can't remember what your other dog is. There is a hawk screeching up a storm out back. No free ranging for the Seramas unless the crows chase it off!
