all the cats are good mousers. and bird. found a head of a red bird in the barn yesterday. that makes me mad. It would leave me one cat outside and my sons new cat is a mouser as well.

This cat is the last cat I will own. I love Eve, but I am tired of the cat hair. I don't know if she is shedding more because of old age, or I just can't stand the hair be a of old age sneaking up on me.

The cat I owned before her was a furry devil. He loved to knock things off of shelves just to watch them crash to the floor.

The guy I was living with when I got him built shelves at the windows so I could bring all of my potted plants in for the winter. I got them all in, nursed them all back to being pretty after " bring them inside shock" and all was good.

We took a load of miniature houses to Connecticut, were gone 4 days....... When we got back every single pot was in the floor, pots broke, flowers busted up. I was FURIOUS !!

From then on it was a game for him, he graduated to cleaning off dresser tops, bath room counter...... Anything that was not on the floor he committed himself to getting it there. It all ended when he got the liquor cabinet open and dumped the bottles in the floor!!!

I came home from work to find the boyfriend cleaning it up. I never saw the cat again and I never asked what happened to him. . . .

I actually have never had an outside dog. Danna, woman says she ignores the chickens.

Enola, Roberts cat dont shed. she is a Korat. Never seen anything like it before. I dont like the hair either. Your cat probably missed you and was looking for a way out. but once they see the fun of doing stuff like that you cant stop them. LOL

My advice? Before you bring her home, ask if you can have a one month trial period. If she says no, then I would be hesitant to take the dog.

Example: A girl at work tried her darndest to give me a min pin 'puppy'. I just had a gut feeling that I didn't need this dog...... Oh come on she says - it is housebroken she says, she likes men she says, she is loose in the house all day and doesn't tear anything up she says, she comes when you call her she says, just an all around great dog she says. Someone else at work took her home......
They brought the dog back on three days, all the girl who took her home only said, "She was NOT the perfect dog!!!".

She is full blooded so I think if she didnt work it wouldnt be hard to rehome her.

Granny My 2 cents One Dog will eat way more food then 2 cats, plus they will eat the cat food.

ON the chicken front, I thought you were stressing out about how to take care of all your chickens this winter?? How about keeping this ladies number and seeing what she might have next spring?? OR Giving them to your son for his birthday.

Also personally it really TORKS me off when someone owes me money and I see them spending money on un-needed things before paying me back.

I'm not having any more house pets after this lot has passed. I too am sick to the back teeth of cleaning hair all the time. Miss a day of vacuuming and its building up in piles all over the shop!! The other half wants a gun dog but it will be living outside and will only be a small cocker spaniel.

Enola, my little cat now is just the same now. Will do all and sundry for attention and things that are just annoying. I reckon all the climbing up the new curtains and what not and she may disappear too.....
