I'm here! Just doing the regular stuff. Finally tackling the mountain of camping gear still stacked by the front door. It's only been two weeks...

Trying to decide what to plant in my fall garden, or if I even want to do one.

We had some kids plant stuff in the raised beds, part of a service project. Nothing is marked, so I have no idea what's out there. I've got almost three months til the first frost (according to the almanac) so maybe I'll try spinach, lettuce, broccoli, and radishes. DS just LOVES radishes. That's always her choice when I tell them to pick out snacks in the produce.

I accidentally left broccoli overwinter on year. Now I throw out a handful of kale seeds in the fall. It starts growing then just waits till spring & then it really takes off. 6-8 feet tall. The chickens and ducks eat all the leaves they can reach and then jump to reach that last bit. Hysterical! I love watching them jump. ROTFLOL. Then they go to seed and you save them.
