OMG   and remember party lines we had those for a while growing up as well.
I do and we had a crazy neighbor lady that loved to listen in to everyone calls. She reminded me of Mrs. Oleson on Little House on the Prairie. I ran into her a few years ago at Walmart, or should I say she ran into me...repeatedly with her cart. I wasn't paying attention to her and thought I accidentally ran my cart into hers so said I'm sorry without looking up. So she continued to ram her cart into mine until I looked up. The funny thing is if she wouldn't have spoke I never would have known who she was :lau

My girls (Merida hollering at something)

She looked all fluffed up as well??

stuck here at the motel until at least Monday.  Angie my head everything been working for me for over 23 years.  Is gone for the weekend.   So I get the motel from 7 am until 11 pm and then sort of on call the rest of the night as well.    Sort of I say as there is an outside call box if some one wants a room.   The main switchboard is shut down from 11 pm until 7 am.
Oh that doesn't sound like any fun Twist, scarey in this day and age as well. You never know who might be buzzing to get a room in the middle of the night ~ yikes.

I'm meeting up with my daughter early tomorrow morning to grab 2 of the grandbabies. Hubby with go with our daughter to go watch our granddaughters volleyball tournament. My grandsons are 21 month & 2 months. Going to be a very busy day for me. This Nannie going to be whupped lol.

Thanks ;) I confess I did invest in a bag of chick grit way back in the day. It's good to put in the nugget nest...though since they get outside time now I don't bother so much.
