Wondering how granny's night went with Mr Hoots????? And more importantly what she ended up feeding him.

Mike's feet and ankles were very swollen last night. He slept with them elevated and they look a little better. He took his lasix last night and again this morning. I told him he doesn't have to call his Dr as long as he promises to keep his feet elevated today AND stays off his feet.

Of course the first thing he did was get up and go to the kitchen and start fiddling around. He is back in bed now, sleeping.

We will see...... he doesn't like to have to ask me to do things for him......

Hope Mike is feeling better soon and the swelling reduces. You may have to strap him down and his legs up. Some kind of traction? Sometimes men need this as your so right they just can't ask for a little help sometimes when it would be in their best interest. My other half I would have to strap down. Just won't do as he's told sometimes. He too would never ask for help with things, even when he came back from the quacks and they told him to rest he wouldn't untill I was very stern and put my foot down.

It's a pride thing asking for them. I tried to plan what he might want to ask but got in there first before he had to.

I need valium for Beth !!! She is literially bouncing off the walls, the other dogs, me, the dog couch and any and everything else trying to get some one to play with her and failing that any type of reaction.

Enola you can always threat to use an old time washer wringer to "squeeze" the extra liquid out. My father's would get so swollen that they would actually weep/ooze fluids.

can anyone one here explain the difference between an ovation and a unique ovation.

And yes I do know how to catch a unique squirrel you unque up on them and to catch a tame squirrel it's the tame way you unique up on them.
