my problem is 1) the weather  2) Robert is crippled and Rod not much better and they are the primary care givers for the chickens.  3) the shear number of chickens.

I was wondering though if I could use like a grower mix instead of the All flock Raiser. It says it increases the good stuff in the feed that is being fermented. So if I started out with a cheaper feed would it ferment to a better quality feed? Trying to figure out a cheaper quality feed option that wouldn't compromise the birds, but would save me a bunch.
 
Twist that is a beautiful picture of Porter. It could easily be made into a manly greeting card. I can think of a couple right off hand for a humorous card, but I won't repeat. I don't want to be sent to time-out :lau
