York I think you'd be surprised with a peanut butter and banana sandwich. I remember thinking the same thing when I was young and someone mentioned it. I don't can for root beer but a lot of people love it.

I don't think I've even seen root beet over here. Then again when I go grocery shopping I whizz round, I'm not a dawdler in those places!

I think UK banned root beer, at least to hear some people talk!

It's kind of like ginger ale, non alcoholic, a bit spicy but mostly sweet soda pop. According to my friend, who was choking and trying not to spew it all over my mom's kitchen, it tastes like cough syrup! Kids over here would line up to take their medicine if it tasted like root beer!

Peanut butter with sliced banana and cinnamon in hot porridge is better than a sandwich, IMO.
