I'm sorry about your hen Danna. How old was she? I have a young hen that I swore was a roo! A BO. She's the boss! I got the 3 BO's first cause I heard they were so docile, it worked well for them to be a few weeks older. She's still noisy and bossy!

Yes they will do that. Has he gotten in a nest box yet and started doing that. A good roo will show his ladies where to lay.

Yes he has. I just thought he was getting confused or wanting me attention like I give all my hens. I show him attention to . He use to drop food at my feet. Had to put a stop to that when I found out he was trying to make me his *****. Now I hand feed him. He also will get it the nest box and lean forward with his butt in the air. What's that supposed to mean. Hopefully it's not what I think. I don't swing that way.

Thats a good reason to not assume someone is ignoring you. posts get lost. not too long ago every time someone posted you had to keep refreshing the page to see if they responded or not so it is way better then it used to be.

I have to do that now to get new posts to show up.
