She free ranged today about thirty minutes but stayed within 20 yards of the eggs while the others went to the front yard. I hope this isn't a bad sign?

im not sure but i think 30 min. is a long time.   cant go by me though. anyone ??

I wouldn't allow her the option. Put food and water in the crate with her so she feels secure enough to sit. She can hop off and on with her own schedule. Anytime that nest is open is an opportunity for another hen to mess with her.

Guess the snakes aren't asleep yet.

Are they poisonous camping? We don't really get snakes over here. I would have been running, screaming not taking a pic!!
