I wanted to make a fountain from an old claw foot tub. We scrapped it for $20 when we needed money. I paid $60 for it. I could have killed DH.

I have a claw foot tub! Bought it for $100. They're going for $500 right now. I'm keeping it, thought. I wanted a hand pump to run the water through, but could never find a real one. Could probably find a fake one now that it's all in style.

Oh I can't afford to replace it. The worst part was there were 2 of them. One was for my bathroom! I told him when they said $20 each, he should have brought them back!

camping there is bound to be a fitting, that will take you from the pump discharge, to the hose connection for the faucet.

You're talking too fancy, Bert. I'll try to look at it later, maybe take pics. My plan is to just use aquarium tubing up through each faucet; the whole pump is beneath those rocks. It's a really deep basin. But nothing until I have help, or I get my shoulder looked at.

that will work fine, but you will have to "gut" the innards of the faucet.

On his way back from breakfast, DH stopped at KFC and asked what they were doing for veterans. Actually nothing but when he told them about Dennys and the other places, they gave him lunch! He's such a joker. Lol

nope. buy the tubing to go over the threads on the faucet size it down to fit the pump and turn the faucet on. Then when you get stopped up take it all apart and gut the faucet. At least thats how I would do it !

I love that phrase.......

"gotta run to town."

for you city folks, that means she don't live in town, but out in the sticks.

oh thanks Bert

for petes, Mr.Benny, that was for Thanksgiving! He was plucked already nuff said!
granny, I would do it like you suggested, I just meant her way would work too, but the valve portion of the faucet would have to be removed.
