My baby chicks are supposed to arrive tomorrow morning. Have been busy the past two days getting the brooder coop cleaned

I would be more excited about chicks coming if they were a breed that I coveted. These are all production layers & my current experience with productions breeds isn't very high on my wish list. Mine have been the most persnickety be-otches. They are always picking at my desired breeds. But hubby is wanting more eggs for sales, so production layers it is. I can only imagine what kind of squabbles my coming spring will hold.

I have no idea, didn't notice anything until today. Comb turning black, could hardly stand, went to pick her up & she was just bones. I looked her over throughly no obvious signs. I knew she was too far gone I put her out of misery.

Red, my DH had the exam at the Drs office (I HAD to stay for that Lol). He has had the roto rooter thing done twice. He says it's not bad. If you want to talk to him and ask him some questions, you can call. You should hear him tell about his friend's experience. It's hysterical!

That's too bad. They hide it until it's too late. Sounds like what happened to someone I knew. Turned out to be a fungal infection.
