Red, there is a lot of good info out there on it. Hope you caught it in time. Make sure you wear gloves everytime you are treating it. If you decide to try to cut it out, try to have help. If you snuggly wrap you bird up in a towel he will be calmer. Don't cover his face with the towel though. You can place something light weight over his head so he can't see

Thanks for all your help Lisa and everyone. Pearls gonna help me if I have too. Never thought I'd ever even consider doing something like this. I've cleaned every kinda animal that you can think of to eat but never operated on one. Guess you gotta do what you gotta do.
