You know I'm thinking the egg was Brown. If it was white it could've been my leg horn . She's the last one and only one that I have that lays white eggs.Probably. Very pale yellow usually turns out white or close to it.
You could try the Silkie with the chick, but you should wait until it's stronger. As far as putting her with the rest, not until she is feathered. 4 wks or so. Then you have to watch very carefully to make sure they don't pick on the chick. It might be easier to introduce 2 of them into the group of older chicks, so if the Silkie can be in with it, that would be good.I have chicks that are five weeks old today. One is a silkie. Do you think the silkie would be ok with it?
