So quiet tonight.

I'm trying to think about what to do at my mom's house this weekend so I'm not staring at my phone the whole time. We don't really get along

so it helps to have a project.

Is bringing my sewing machine way too obvious? I could work on nest curtains or Christmas presents. I was thinking about a crochet project or two. Maybe embroidery? I'm definitely bringing my coloring book.

Me thinks crochet would be way less obvious.

DH brought me an egg mcmuffin for breakfast in bed. We went to the market for sugar. Then I spent the rest of the day napping and reading. DH worked until 8 and brought home dinner from Dennys. No cake or ice cream. I didn't get the real whipping cream for the icing. Back tomorrow so DH can have it on his pumpkin pie.

Granny I have pressure cooked the chicken and then battered and fried it quickly to brown. Can be battered and then pressured but it's not crispy.

Good evening everyone. Had a tough day but feeling better now. I don't remember who asked about projects to do at their moms house.... I think maybe camping?? Anyway, I have a tough time with my over bearing siblings.... I focus on the kids. I create scavenger hunts for them.. Take lots of selfies.. Play made up games until it's time for clean up... Then I bury myself into dishes. The kids love it and I miss out on the judging rude comments and fights.

Lost my internet connection for a few. 5 softbaked cookies, not what I had in mind but didnt feel like standing there.

Camping I have always had a book or cross stitch with me so I have something to do.

Mutt, sorry your DH is being a jerk. We will worry over you here and want to hear the latest on what's going on with you. If you need to talk, I'm a phone call away.

I agree! You probably need to finish something up for a Christmas gift, right?

Generally, but most of my projects this year are sewing.
