Unfortunately hubby wouldn't back me on that one. Its a tradition with his family & they celebrate Christmas with the family at the same time. I guess you could say I'm second.

pizz on em. 3 words. "I';m not going". I'll prepare and send a dish with you, but I'm not going. I had to explain. "It's my holiday as well, I feel I should be able to enjoy it and my traditions. I will go to your family's every other year. They are welcomed to come here on the alternate years". That worked for many years until the Black Fri sale fliers and obsession ruined it for me.
