Camping, very sorry about Emily. Really glad it wasn't Ben, but it doesn't replace the hen either. Twist, you sound like you need a vacation for a couple days. You've been having granny's luck lately. Praying they will get your boiler system up & running tomorrow. Granny, did you go pickup SIL tonight? Jane, sorry about all the losses you've had this year as well. Its is heartbreaking & expensive to loose a layer hen. Papa, sounds like you've got some yumming stuff smoking.

I have electric heaters (the oil filled type)  in the 3 rooms I rent and a couple three in the house and it is not supposed to get super cold tonight Thank the lord.........

what is not super cold to you ?

below zero.   is cold   super cold is -20 or lower. 

40 is cold here!

lol  at 40 we (nodaks)  might wear a windbreaker or long sleeve shirt. 

That is just plain wrong!

Why?? I wear a hoody sweatshirt in those temps & I'm not nodak.

We are doing 4 hogs the third weekend in Jan. Worked on cleaning out the meat freezer a little today hens are getting a few extra treats. LOL
