does anyone know if I can use ANY type of sand in the run ? at Lowes where the cement is they hav some kind there a littl cheaper then play sand. my e is sticking .

if it's for coop/run, that sand will be fine, yes.

The construction sands the best. It has tiny stones in it as well. I use it on my poop boards & this year on all my coop floors.

Mine will get that stink sometimes too, but the runs are floating, muddy & stinky already.
