Morning papa. There's my cured dog, putting himself in timeout because the chickens were getting too close. Not to say he'll never slip up again, but he's made darn good progress.


How did you achieve these results pleaz


Shock collar and lots of hand holding by Mutt, and encouragement from the group. Also lots of treats and repetition of the "leave it!" command.

That is quite an accomplishment for sure because the only cure i ever heard of involved the dog being destroyed i however do not believe in killing just for the sake of killing

x2. We knew going in that it would be a challenge and would take work. The one he killed was a chick that got out when I was locking up the coop at night. He retrieved it and put it at my feet and never gave it a second look. So it wasn't prey drive, but work drive. I think that helped a lot, too.
