Hi everyone,
Very busy, exhausting weekend with the grand babies. This Nana just does not do well without sleep anymore. The stay was unexpected, but loved seeing them. It was after 11:00 Sat night before I got the baby down, then 2 year old gs back up at 2 a.m. Was so exhausted & my back was in so much pain that I just went to bed. Spent the whole night up & down with kiddos. Hubby & dd came in & relieved me at 7:30 Sun morning so I could try to catch some winks. Layed down for 2 hours then got up to do chicken chores. We had to leave for our 2 year old gs birthday party at 12:45. Spent the afternoon & evening visiting with family. After we got home last night, we decided to invite my mom out for dinner, so went out for dinner. We got back home around 9 pm. Start reading the 18 pages I was behind. By the time I got to the end I was so exhausted I went to bed. Sounds like everyone was busy as well.

That's a daunting amount of work for someone in their 20s. My back is aching in sympathy!

Always lovely to see them I'm sure but catching up on some sleep is lovely too I bet. My mother always enjoyed having Charlie when he was younger but she was always ready for him going home too!!
Long time since I had a toddler waking me up, Charlie seems to have become a vampire and comes to life at night time!! A teenage thing I think
It's the gaming now that wakes me!! He thinks I'm very sad because I go to bed early!!
