I got up at 5:30, it is now after 10....... So far I have drank coffee - ate breakfast - ate 6 pieces of chocolate candy - ate lunch - watched it rain and listened to thunder - posted on here and FB...... I have soooooo much to do and my get up and go has gotten up and run away!!

Mike gets to come home tomorrow. I sure hope I can get motivated after he is back home. If not, my daughter is going to kill me when she arrives after New Years.

What a wonderful update to come in here and read - SO very glad that he will be home with you, and just in time for Christmas. Is it maybe that you are feeling too overwhelmed by the enormity of all that is involved in this move and that's making it hard to find the motivation to get started on it? Sometimes when you feel that way it helps to make a small list of quick/easy things to accomplish so that you can cross them off and start to feel accomplished, which makes tackling the bigger chores seem less daunting.

Morning all! Payroll has been checked and sent back to the clerk for corrections, so it's time to practice my thumb twiddling skills - not as fun as it might sound given that there is this giant mountain of work looming over my head, two short work weeks to do it in due to holidays, and being unable to start on any of it so the "down time" is doubly frustrating as I'd much rather be working on work, lol.

Received some lovely cards in the mail yesterday - truly made my day - thank you so much (you know who you are)! If nothing else, there are two times a year you actually get something other than bills and junk mail in the mail - the holidays and your birthday.
