SO let's just say that MAYBE I'm looking at goats. What the best tiny breed for kids? Tiny is nonnegotiable.


Bert, don't you have goats?

Do you want them just as pets or for milk or meat production?

Pets would be fine. DH said since the coop is so nice (expensive) that we should add an animal. Also adding an animal could be the "new at camp this year!"

If I could get em I'd start with three

Breed would depend on how much milk I wanted

I would get one Billy and two Sally's

I would keep them so that while one was gestating, the other Sally would be separate so no milk shortage

I do, but I have big goats......kikos does are 180-210lbs and the buck is well over 250lbs

go with any thing dwarf, there are more than just a few, but be prepared to stay on top of worming them.

one reason I got kikos, was their ability to stave off parasites without constantly worming.

word of advice, be careful where you feed, and know if you keep them all the time ina small pen, that doesn't have enough forage for them, they will eat grass, and then get worms.......
