- where is it you are going to skidaddle to?
The "Bundy's" is in reference to the yahoos currently occupying a wildlife preserve in protest -- did you see any of the coverage of Cliven Bundy and the big standoff between him (and a bunch of armed supporters) and the BLM over unpaid grazing fees a year or so ago? His two sons are now up near Burns with a dozen or so other guys.
OH! I remember that! From what I read, he was illegally grazing his cows and a bunch of ignorant anti government protests ensued. Oregon is beautiful! They hate people from Ca!

Yay out for dinner with hubs. I don't have to cook. Or do dishes. Well, except for lunch dishes. Shh.

Only three eggs today. Guess my girls are slacking in the rain.

She is also step mom to the chicks, they climb up in the nest box with her if momma is buzy & they are wanting to snuggle. Cutest darn thing, if she could ever get the egg thing figured out she's going to be an awesome momma. This is the second hatch she has helped with. She just didn't go broody the first time around

Oh no, that little stinker. He's got it in his room in one of those multiple cupboards he has you hang :gig

aaahh, I bet he does too ! I will look in there tomorrow.
Hoping we will have a better spring for our berry bushes this year. Late hard frost just about wiped out my raspberry supply & blackberry supply last year. FIL is my raspberry source, but he lost 90% of his berries to frost damage last year. Same for me with the blackberry plants. Jam was slim pickin' around here last summer.

Ya I've done the wire cage with my LF birds, just don't want to separate her from the other birds because of tempature issues. Silkies need each other for warmth.
