my silkie roo has a comb..   Your right though there not supposed to. The best way I have heard to break a broody it to hang them in a bird cage with wire bottom for 3 days.

Its correct for the roosters to have a walnut shaped dark comb. Not uncommon for the buff Silkie roos to have more of a raspberry colored one.
